Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres has turned down a massive Ôé¼35 million-per-year salary offer from Saudi giants Al-Hilal.

According to Foot Mercato, Gyokeres has rejected a huge Ôé¼35 million (┬ú30m/$40m) annual salary offer from Al-Hilal. The Saudi Pro League club was prepared to pay Sporting up to Ôé¼70 million (┬ú59m/$80m) to sign the striker, but the Swedish forward wants to remain in Europe and is eyeing a Premier League move instead.

Sporting paid just Ôé¼20m (┬ú17m/$23m) to sign Gyokeres from Coventry City in 2023, but his value has skyrocketed after two incredible campaigns. Despite massive interest, Sporting insist on receiving as much as Ôé¼100m (┬ú84m/$114m) for their star player.
