Suspected Ritualist Caught With Human Parts In Osun Blames His 'Son In-law' | READ DETAILS

A man (name unknown), suspected to be a ritualist have been arrested in Osun state in possession with mutilated human body parts.

According to reports, residents of Igege town in Ola-Oluwa Southeast Local Council Development Authority, apprehended the man on Wednesday, January 5, with a 'Ghana Must Go' bag.

He was forced to open the bag wherein mutilated human body parts were found.

In a video seen by VANGUARD, the suspect was heard saying that he was set up by someone as residents beat him up.

He was however rescued by Operatives of Osun Security Network Agency alias Amotekun.

Confirming the incident, Chairman, Ola-Oluwa Southeast LCDA, Sunday Olaifa, said;

"It is true the man was caught with body parts, but we demand that the case be diligently investigated as the suspect claimed he was set up by his "supposedÔÇØ son-in-law, hence, the matter should be properly investigatedÔÇØ.

Meanwhile, Osun police spokesperson, SP Yemisi Opalola said the Commissioner of Police has been briefed of the incident and will communicate more information to newsmen later.
