2023 ELECTION: Tinubu Reacts To Peter Obi Beating Him In Lagos | READ DETAILS
The presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has reacted to his Labour Party counterpart, Mr Peter Obi, winning Lagos state over him in the just concluded presidential election.

Obi polled 582,664 to beat Tinubu who polled 541,850 votes.

Many have been wondering how Tinubu was defeated in Lagos state which he claimed to have built.

However, after the result was announced, violence erupted in Lagos state as many shops believed to belong to the Igbos in that state were touched.

Reacting, Tinubu in a statement said;

"The fact that the APC narrowly lost Lagos State to another party should not be the reason for violence. As a democrat, you win some, you lose some. We must allow the process to continue unhindered across the country while we maintain peace and decorumÔÇØ.
