TROUBLE: Landlord Leaks Name Of Police Officer Who Gave Him Gun To Kill Tenant

AFNews learnt that the man who gave his name as Victor Stephen Nana Kankam had on Monday, May 25 murdered his tenant for allegedly refusing to pack out of the rented apartment days after expiration of his stay term.

It was reported that Mr Stephen shot dead Kobby, 31, who is said to be an artist in his room at Ofankor Spot M in Accra, Ghana on Monday for refusing to vacate his house.

Confessing to the allegation, Mr Stephen revealed that he shot Kobby while trying to defend himself from him. Though it was unclear if an argument between them resulted in the incident. He, however, admitted that he committed the crime, and further revealed the name of the Police Officer who gave him the gun he used in carrying out the act.

According to the arrested house owner, the gun he used to carry out the act was released to him by Mr Kanani, the head of the CID at Mamprobi police station.

He noted that he has received the gun from the officer about twelve years ago when his house was burgled by some persons.
