In what many political observers have described as the most overwhelming empowerment programme ever witnessed in Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Amobi Godwin Ogah has again raised the standard of representation by rolling out a large-scale empowerment that lasted two full days-December 6th and 7th-at the Onuaku Primary School Field, Uturu.

The programme, described by constituents as historic and unprecedented, extended into a second day due to the sheer quantity and diversity of empowerment items. Beneficiaries queued from morning to evening as cars, tractors, tricycles, sewing machines, generators, grinding machines, agricultural equipment and numerous other tools were handed out in phases to ensure orderly and transparent distribution.

According to feelers from across the federal constituency, the atmosphere remained charged with excitement as the people openly expressed satisfaction with Ogah's performance-so much so that many now describe his re-election in 2027 as "almost assuredÔÇØ if he presents himself for a second term.

Speaking during the event, which marked the second edition of his "impactful representation empowerment series,ÔÇØ Ogah said the initiative was inspired by the overwhelming love and trust his constituents have shown him since his election.

"The essence of this empowerment is to catalyse the economic and social emancipation of my constituents,ÔÇØ he said.

"The day I was declared winner, I was marveled by the love my people showed me. By next year, every ward in this constituency will have a tractor so our people can farm with ease.ÔÇØ

The federal lawmaker commended Governor Alex Otti for delivering genuine dividends of democracy across Abia State. Ogah praised the Governor for restoring security in the constituency, paying accumulated salary arrears, and repositioning traditional institutions.

"Governor Otti is a leader who leads and others follow,ÔÇØ Ogah said.

"His people-centered leadership inspires us to do more.ÔÇØ

Representing Governor Otti, the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Kenneth Kalu, applauded Ogah's consistency and impact, saying the event reflects what true representation should be.

"This is what leadership should be - not noise and grammar on social media without impact,ÔÇØ he stated.

In a similar vein, the Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriation, Rt. Hon. Abubakar Kabir Abubakar, represented by Rt. Hon. Mark Essien, described Ogah as "the best performing Member of the 10th National Assembly,ÔÇØ insisting he has already earned a second term based on performance.

Rt. Hon. Ginger Onwusibe, who stormed the venue to support his colleague, agreed that Ogah's empowerment drive is "unprecedented nationwide.ÔÇØ

"Amobi has earned his second tenure. What he is doing is unmatched,ÔÇØ he said proudly.

Religious leaders also lent their voices. The Methodist Bishop of Isuikwuato Diocese, Rt. Rev. Dr. O.C. Chiemeka, commended the lawmaker and urged beneficiaries to put the items to effective use.

"What you are receiving today is a trial. If you use it well, God will give you more.

God will continue to empower Hon. Amobi as he empowers others,ÔÇØ he prayed.

As the two-day empowerment concluded, constituents described Ogah's performance as transformational, practical and deeply people-focused, setting a new benchmark for political leadership in the region.
