United Abia Artistes and Patriots (UAAP) Intensifies Support for Abia Governor-Elect Ahead of His Inauguration.

A pro-good governance group, United Abia Artistes (UAAP) has re-strategised and affirmed its support for the Abia Governor-Elect, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, ahead of his inauguration billed to hold in Umuahia on Monday 29th May 2023.

The group which is made up of eminent personalities from the Media, Entertainment and Sports Industries, met in Abuja over the weekend to share ideas on how to play their role in ensuring the success of the Inauguration, as well as the overall success of the in-coming government of Dr. Alex Otti.

The meeting which was hosted by an illustrious Abia sons, retired Director in the State Security Service, High Chief Raymond Nkemdirim and Ambassador Osita Offor-Convener which held at the Popular Flourish Garden Wuse Zone3, Abuja, saw members reflect on the Abia years of locust and rudderless leaderships, and expressed joy that Otti's victory marked a watershed in the history of Abia state.

The group restated its conviction on the Ability of the renowned economist and Astute banker to inspire sincerity and seriousness in governance which would propel the desired economic prosperity that has eluded Abia since the return of democracy in 1999.

It would be recalled the UAAP had endorsed the ex bank Chief during the last governorship election, both as a group and as individuals, and hinged their support on his proven capacity, antecedents of excellence and willingness to confront the challenges ravaging the state fearlessly.
