UDE OKO CHUKWU: "CALL ORJI UZOR KALU TO ORDER" SAYS ABIA GROUP FOR PEACE AND UNITY

In a press release made to available to AFN, by a group known as ABIA GROUP FOR PEACE AND UNITY and signed by Dr. ACB Agbazuere Esq as the convener has emphatically called on the President, Inspector General of Police, and other security agencies to call former Abia State governor Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu to order to avoid any breakdown of law and order in Abia State.

Stated in the press release are reports alleging threats by Orji Uzor Kalu against the Deputy Governor of Abia State, Rt. Hon. Ude Oko Chukwu. Speaking further, "it has been revealed that Orji Uzor Kalu threatened to ambush the Deputy Governor whenever he passes through Igbere, it was also revealed that the Deputy Governor will go by force if he tries to take their mandate by force".

The threats was intensified on Thursday, Jan 31, 2019 when Orji Uzor Kalu invaded Nkporo community with thugs and men in military uniform destroying several bill boards belonging to other political parties.

The group expresses deep concern that such negative steps by Orji Uzor Kalu and his agents are likely to destroy the peace which Abia State has enjoyed in the last four years.

Therefore, the group calls on the President, inspector General of Police and other security agencies to call Orji Uzor Kalu to order to avoid any breakdown of law and order in Abia State.
