The former Deputy Governor of Abia State, Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Ude Oko Chukwu, has extended warm birthday felicitations to retired Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Azubuko Udah, describing him as a distinguished son of Abia State, a patriotic Nigerian, and an exemplary leader whose legacy in public service continues to inspire many.

In a goodwill message made available to All Facts Newspaper in celebration of Udah's 71st birthday, Dr. Oko Chukwu praised the retired police chief for his sterling contributions to national security, peace-building, and good governance, particularly highlighting his pivotal role in conceptualizing the Niger Delta Amnesty Programme that brought stability to the oil-rich region during the administration of late President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua.

The former Deputy Governor described DIG Udah as a disciplined officer, visionary thinker, and bridge-builder whose decades of service in the Nigeria Police Force and continued engagement in the private and legal sectors demonstrate his enduring commitment to Nigeria's progress.

He also commended Udah's post-retirement engagements, including his tenure as Chairman of the Nigerian Police Force Microfinance Bank, his membership in the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), and his involvement with international organizations such as the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP).
Oko Chukwu prayed for God's continued blessings, good health, and long life for the retired DIG, noting that Abia State remains proud of his accomplishments and the honour he continues to bring to the state.
