Ukwa Carnival Has Placed Abia On World Tourism Map - Emenike Says As AFNEWS Becomes Official Media Partner

ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER (AFNEWS), has been confirmed as the official media partner for the 5th edition of the Ukwa Carnival which usually sees different calibers of people from all walks of life gracing the festive event.

The Ukwa Carnival has since its inception, redefined tourism in Abia state and Nigeria at large. AFNEWS being the official media partner of Ukwa Carnival is laced with the responsibility of bringing into limelight, the past and present of the carnival, projecting the vision of the carnival which centres on promoting the rich heritage of the people, among others.

Accepting the partnership offer, for the 2022 edition, the Publisher of ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER (AFNEWS), Mr. Emenike Jason Iroegbu, appreciated the organisers of the prominent Ukwa Carnival represented by Ezinwanne Obi Adiele, Project Director/ Promoter, for finding it worthy to partner with AFNEWS, a renowned media organisation which has always stood out in the discharge of it's duty of educating, informing and entertaining the publics.

Iroegbu called on all well meaning Abians, home and abroad, including the Abia state government to cue into the all important carnival and support tourism which Ukwa Carnival represents.

He posited that tourism remains a high income making sector for so many countries in the world, adding that the major foreign earnings of some countries comes through tourism.

"Every government and people should prioritize the tourism sector in their state and country. In the case of Abia state, the state has numerous tourism sites that has potentials of adding to the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR). Ukwa carnival is one of such events which for the first five editions, has put Abia state in the tourism map of Nigeria and world and should be supported" Iroegbu said.

AFNEWS boss lauded the organisers of Ukwa festival for their consistency and ensuring quality of the event which he said, has met global standard.

He assured that AFNEWS, which is the number one online media platform, will give it's maximum support to ensure that the event takes it's pride of place in Nigerian and the globe.

The 2022 edition of Ukwa Carnival is scheduled to hold on 28th to 30th December, at Obehie town in Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State. Time is 2pm daily.
