Governor Okezie Ikpeazu earlier today visited the family of Mr Chimaobi Nwaogu, the motorcyclist brutally murdered by a soldier yesterday.

The Governor condemned the unfortunate incident and expressed his displeasure with the level of extortion by some criminal elements among the security forces.

The Governor sympathized with the mother of the deceased, his wife and two infants, promised to take care of their welfare forthwith.

Abia Facts News gathered that the killer soldier named Corporal Ajayi has been arrested alongside two other soldiers and the Governor has made it clear that he will see to it that they face the full weight of the law.
