Update On Situation Of Nigerians In Ukraine -Ministry of Foreign Affairs | DETAILS

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said that a large number of Nigerians have successfully been evacuated from Ukraine to neighbouring Poland, Romania and Hungary.

According to a statement issued by its Permanent Secretary, Ambassador Gabriel Aduda, 130 Nigerians who have safely fled from Ukraine to Bucharest, Romania, have been given accommodation while the essential procedures for their final evacuation to Nigeria are being finalized.

Also, 74 Nigerians have successfully left Ukraine for Hungary, 23 for Poland, and 200 more are expected to leave soon.
