VIRAL POSTER: "I can not be distracted" , Hon. Prestige warns mischief makers

The honorable member was speaking after a poster carrying his photo and name went viral on social media with the inscription "RESCUE ABIA 2023" "HON. OSSY PRESTIGE FOR GOVERNOR ABIA STATE".

While speaking through his campaign Director General, Rtn. George Ezikpe Okiyi, he revealed that he is presently preoccupied with the mandate given to him as the Representative of the Aba North/South Federal Constituency at the National Assembly and will not allow himself to be distracted by mischief makers.

"The poster was designed by misguided politicians hell bent on heating up the Abia political space ahead of the 2023 general elections. If and when Hon. Prestige decides to aspire to the position of the Governor of the State, he will communicate same directly to Ndi Abia and without recourse to faceless individuals as proxy".

He went further to advise ndi Aba and Abians in general to disregard the poster, while warning that security operatives have been informed of the development and that they will treat anyone involved in this misrepresentation as a common criminal.

"Though he is eminently qualified to aspire to the office of the Governor of our dear State, Hon. Prestige Ossy is presently focused on delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of Aba and would not allow any distractions from that set goal by political pundits and thier 2023 political permutations and extrapolation". He concluded.
