"We had an understanding and we agreed that we are going to work together because we want a change in the system and based on that change, we were able to elect a Speaker who is of the Labour Party; after all it is simple majority. If you add 3 to the 10 we have, that's 13; PDP has 11 members, based on that, anytime there is an election, in the House, we have majority and because we have majority, that is the greatest problem of PDP" the Labour Party Chairman maintained.

"We voted you to go and represent us, to do things that will reflect good living and development for the people. They have wasted a lot of time; I've not heard the motions they have moved and the things they have done; they should face the business for which they went there, not this backbiting; rancorous sessions they have been having, it won't help us, we want to develop Abia, we elected them there to make laws that will help the executive to bring to pass the kind of development we are looking for" he admonished.
