Parag Agrawal, has replaced Jack Dorsey as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of a micro-blogging platform, Twitter.

Dorsey who has served as the CEO of the platform for the past 16 years, announced his resignation writing " I resigned from Twitter," with a copy of his resignation letter. He also announced Agrawal as his successor.

Parag Agrawal, an Indian-American;

Is a PhD holder in computer science from Stanford University.
He bagged a bachelor's degree in computer science and engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay.
He underwent research internships at AT&T, Microsoft and Yahoo.
He joined the Twitter company in 2011.
He had served as the Chief Technical Officer, Twitter being responsible for the company's technical startegy since 2017 until his recent appointment as CEO, Twitter.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian Government is yet to lift the ban placed on Twitter. However, the FG says Twitter has agreed to all the conditions it laid out.
