Nigerian football fans can follow live text updates for the Super Eagles clash against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon at the Weiner Neustadt Stadium in Austria on Friday, June 4.

However, fans in Nigeria can also watch the game live on Dstv and Gotv after Supersport confirmed they would show the match.

The Super Eagles will face their arch-rivals in back-to-back friendly games on June 4 and 8, respectively. It's the team's first match since they beat Lesotho to round up the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The two games will serve as preparations for both team's 2022 World Cup qualifying campaign, starting in September.

It's the second consecutive year Nigeria will be playing in Austria following their games against Senegal and Tunisia in the same country last year.

Meanwhile, preparations for the game have been far from ideal for Super Eagles manager Gernot Rohr as six players have already pulled out from the squad. At the same time, there's a feeling of resentment in the team due to unpaid salaries.

Nonetheless, the game is still expected to go ahead. The Super Eagles hold the advantage over the five-time African champions with 11 wins, four losses and seven draws.
