Why Abdulmalik Tanko Was Sacked As A Headmaster Before Establishing His School

A resident of Nasarrawa Local Government Area of Kano state where Abdulmalik Tanko resides, has revealed that the prime suspect in the kidnap and mur-der of 5 year old Hanifa Abubakar, was sacked as a headmaster before he established his school.
Tanko, the proprietor of Noble Kids Academy, after his arrest, revealed that he kidnapped his pupil because he was in a financial crisis and had to kill her with rat poison for fear of getting exposed. READ HERE

Speaking to DAILY TRUST, a resident revealed that the suspect was sacked from a private school, Ete Inoh International School, in Tudun Wada, where he was teaching and working as the school headmaster over alleged misappropriation of funds.

Tanko was said to have relocated to Tudun Murtala after the case was settled by the police to set up his own school.

"After he was sacked from the first school he served as a headmaster on alleged misappropriation of funds, he then settled in Tudun Murtala where he established a school, North West.

"As the business boomed he now rented a house in Kwanar Dakata in Yankaba and established another school called Nobel Kids Academy Nursery and Primary School from where the kid was abducted" the resident revealed.

He added that Tanko left North West under the care of his wife and concentrated on his new school then, Nobel Kids Academy Nursery and Primary School, Kwanar Dakata.

He also revealed that;

"Tanko hardly associated with people and neighbours as his house was always locked. He was always quiet and seemed brooding."

Meanwhile the suspect has been arraigned in court and he was remanded in the custody of State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID).

Tanko and his 30 year old wife, Jamila Abdulmalik Muhammad Sani, were arraigned before Kano State Chief Magistrate Court sitting at Gidan Murtala, Kano.

The woman is standing trial on a four-count charge of concealing a kidnapped victim, conspiracy, kidnapping and culpable homicide.

The matter was adjourned till 2nd February, 2022.
