This significant development was revealed on Monday in a statement by Prince Uzor Nwachukwu, Chairman of the Abia State Harmonized Taskforce.
Governor Alex Otti, leading a reform-driven administration, is behind these sweeping changes. The statement emphasized that Dr. Otti is committed to "doing new things in new ways for quality governance" in Abia State. The government's directive also extends to prohibiting roadside mechanic workshops and the use of streets and public roads for religious, social, and commercial activities.

This unification aims to eliminate the operations of touts who have been illegally issuing tickets to motorists on public roads and streets.
