Why Abia State INEC Resident Electoral Officer Was Arrested

ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER can authoritatively confirm that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Resident Electoral Commissioner In Abia Prof Ike Uzochukwu, was arrested today by security operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS).
Based on investigation, his arrested is connected to the delay experienced during the Presidential, Senatorial and Representatives election that took place in Abia State.

Recall, that election materials got to almost all polling units late in Abia State which caused a serious delay and also making it impossible for elections to hold in some areas.

Election did not hold in some areas in Ohafia and Arochukwu Local Government Areas.

While interacting with some transporters who want to remain anonymous, they claimed that the delay of taking materials to the LGAs, Polling units is caused by the none release of their payments on time.
That the lack of payment on time caused the huge delay which almost led to the rescheduling of the Abia State election.
Security operatives are currently quizzing Prof Ike Uzochukwu, investigating why the transporters monies were not released on time and other issues arising.
