Why Dangote Brother's Corpse Have Not Arrived Nigeria |FULL DETAILS

The return of the remains of late Sani Dangote from the US was, on Tuesday, stalled by some paper documentations.

A family source had told Daily Trust that the remains were expected in Kano for burial on Tuesday.

However, it was gathered that the delay was due to some documentation needed to be done before a corpse can be transported from one country to the other.

The source, however, added that the body of late Sani will arrive Nigeria in the early hours of Wednesday, as against the expected arrival on Tuesday.

"We are in constant touch with them and from our discussion; some paper works delayed their arrival in Nigeria from the United State of America not as expected."

"It is clear to us that due to the delay, we are expecting the body to arrive Nigeria in the early hours of Wednesday for burial. The burial arrangement will be announced after its arrival," said the source.

Another family source told Daily Trust that the body of the deceased left USA at 4pm Nigerian time and will arrive on Wednesday.

The deceased was the younger brother of Africa's richest man, Alhaji Aliko Dangote.

He died at a US hospital on November 14, 2021. He was aged 61.
