Why EFCC Arrested Tambuwal - Is It Linked to His ADC Ties?

Former Sokoto State Governor and current Senator, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has been taken into custody by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over alleged fraudulent cash withdrawals amounting to a staggering 189 billion.

According to reports by The Cable, Tambuwal is currently being grilled at the EFCC headquarters in Abuja in connection with the transactions, which allegedly took place during his tenure as governor. Tambuwal, a known political strategist and influential figure in national politics, has in recent months been linked to high-level meetings with opposition leaders, including those within the ADC bloc.
