Why Nigerians Should Support Tinubu's Govt - Nyesom Wike | READ DETAILS
The Rivers State governor elected under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Nyesom Wike, has called on Nigerians to give their support to the incoming administration of the President-elect, Bola Tinubu.

According to Wike, Tinubu has been declared winner of the 2023 presidential election therefore, Nigerians needs to give him their support.

The governor expressed confidence that Tinubu can turn Nigeria around as he possesses the prerequisite qualities.

Speaking to newsmen in Abuja after meeting with Tinubu at the Defence House on Friday, Wike said;

"Elections have come and gone, and the winners have emerged, therefore, it's necessary for all Nigerians to rally round and give Tinubu the necessary support.

"Everybody is waiting for May 29 when Tinubu will be sworn-in and I'm confident he has what it takes to turn Nigeria around."

On his own part, Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state who is also a part of the G5 governors, said;

"I came here to basically pay homage to the President-elect and to let him know that elections are over and this is governance.

"We will do our best to give him support for good governance".
