In a blistering political tirade that has sent shockwaves across Nigeria's political landscape, former Minister of Transportation and ex-Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, has launched a fierce attack on the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, declaring that a second term for Tinubu in 2027 will bury Nigerians alive.
Amaechi made this controversial remark while addressing a gathering of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) coalition members in Rivers State. The fiery politician, who recently joined the ADC, urged members to mobilize and resist what he described as the systematic rewriting of election results in Rivers State, while issuing a dire warning about the consequences of another Tinubu presidency.

According to Amaechi, "Currently, Nigerians are complaining in President Tinubu's first tenure; imagine what the second tenure will be like. Then, you'll be dead and buried.ÔÇØ He added that the economic hardship, hunger, and systemic decay under the Tinubu administration could escalate into a national catastrophe if citizens fail to vote him out in 2027.

Amaechi, who served as Minister under the Buhari administration, accused Rivers State of being notorious for electoral malpractice, stressing that results are often "written before voting begins,ÔÇØ a situation he said demoralizes genuine voters and damages democracy.
"Our (Rivers) state is notorious for writing results, and we must stop them from writing results. When they said that they have already written results, it discourages voters from coming out,ÔÇØ Amaechi said.

The statement has already begun to stir strong reactions across political circles, with many viewing it as a call to arms against a perceived rigged system and a forewarning of deeper socio-political collapse if current trends persist.
Amaechi's comment adds fuel to the ongoing discontent surrounding economic hardship, inflation, naira depreciation, and food insecurity in Nigeria, as millions of citizens struggle with the rising cost of living under Tinubu's watch.
