... Judge Sanctions Favour Kanu for Allegedly Live-Streaming Sensitive Proceedings Despite Previous Warning
In a dramatic twist at the Federal High Court in Abuja, Justice James Omotosho on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, barred Mrs. Favour Kanu-sister-in-law to the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu-from attending the next three court sessions after she was caught live-streaming court proceedings on her Facebook page.
Favour Kanu, the wife of Prince Fineboy Kanu (Nnamdi Kanu's younger brother), had reportedly used her phone to broadcast the closed-door legal proceedings-a move strictly prohibited by court protocols, especially in cases bordering on national security.
