ABUJA - A fresh wave of political speculation swept through the country on Tuesday after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu held a closed-door meeting with Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja - a development many observers believe may be connected to ongoing behind-the-scenes efforts to secure the release of the detained IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

While neither the Presidency nor the Abia State Government disclosed the official agenda, multiple credible sources hinted that the meeting aligns with recent strategic engagements surrounding Kanu's continued detention and conviction.
