In a rare show of political conviction, a powerful socio-political group under the banner of Umunneochi Women of Conscience has declared its readiness to purchase the 2027 nomination and expression of interest form for the member representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency, Hon. Amobi Ogah.

The decision, which came at the group's third-quarter general meeting, was unanimously endorsed by hundreds of women who insisted that Ogah's visible achievements and people-focused leadership had distinguished him as a lawmaker deserving of another term in the National Assembly.

Speaking on behalf of the women, Mrs. Nneka Okorie, leader of the group, explained that the gesture was not just symbolic but a deliberate move to remove the financial burden of form purchase from the lawmaker. She stressed that credible leaders like Hon. Ogah must be encouraged and supported if democracy is to serve the people.

"Hon. Amobi Ogah has redefined representation for us,ÔÇØ Mrs. Okorie said. "He has constructed markets that boost local trade, provided boreholes that guarantee clean water, and offered financial support to small businesses across our constituency. These are not promises; these are real projects touching lives daily. We, the women of conscience, have resolved to give back by ensuring his journey to the ballot in 2027 comes at no cost to him.ÔÇØ

The women pointed out that their political strength lies not just in mobilization but also in their numbers, noting that women form a decisive voting population across Umunneochi and Isuikwuato.
