WORLD CUP: How FIFA Ignored Nigeria In List Of Referees
Ahead of this year's World Cup in Qatar, the world football governing body, FIFA has picked 8 African officials, ignoring Nigerian referees yet again.
The eight center referees picked all officiated at this year's African Cup of Nations and had officiated in the previous World Cups.

Leading the list is Gambian referee Papa Bakary Gassama who officiated at the 2014 and 2018 editions in Brazil and Russia respectively.

Africa will be represented by five countries (Ghana, Cameroon, Morocco, Tunisia and Senegal) at the World Cup slated to run from November 21st to December 18th.
