The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), have advised Nigerians to be phone smart as they have the right to know who their caller is at every point in time.

The Nigerian Communications Commission is the independent regulatory authority for the telecommunications industry in Nigeria.

"The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) wishes to encourage telephone users across the country to be "Phone Smart".You have the right to know your caller" the Commission said.

telephone users are advised not to entertain unknown callers who refuses to introduce themselves properly.

Meanwhile, the NCC is conducting a survey on Cyber bullying and Child Internet Usage Survey to gain insights into the level of safety in cyberspace and how this can be improved for telecom consumers.
