2023: Abia Speaker Consults with Ikwuano LGA PDP Stakeholders, Delegates

Addressing the delegates, the Speaker said he was particularly delighted at the turn out of the party delegates and stakeholders, describing it as a morale booster.

"I am very delighted for this show of gratitude, love and solidarity; the massive crowd that trooped out to welcome me is not just mind-blowing but emotional to me. i promise to take Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency to greater heights. My ambition is a call to serve the people sincerely and wholeheartedly, I therefore urge you all to remove all prejudices and let's fight collectively to achieve success", he said.

The Speaker reassured the delegates of his willingness and zeal to change the narrative of Umuahia/Ikwuano Federal Constituency for the better.

The Chairman of Ikwuano LGA, Hon Steven Mpama and the Leader of the Legislative Council, Hon Obinna Agodi while thanking the Speaker for his visit, assured him of their unalloyed support and wished him well in his aspirations.

Earlier, the Speaker paid homage to the immediate past National Organising Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Col. Augustine Akobundu (rtd), and Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party Stakeholders in Ikwuano, Rear Admiral Raphael Osondu (rtd) in their respective country homes.

Members of the Campaign Council of the Speaker led by Pastor Emeka Inyama accompanied the Speaker on the visit.
