2023: Apugo Reveals Why APC, PDP Will Not Win In Abia, Supports Peter Obi, Alex Otti

All Progressive Congress (APC) Board of Trustee Member, Chief B.B Apugo have stated in clear terms that the gubernatorial candidate of the APC in Abia State High Chief Ikechi Emenike will not win election because APC have failed the people.

The political bigwig who interacted with selected journalist on Saturday 21st January 2023 in his country home at Nkata Ibeku, posited that he told Ikechi Emenike to his face that APC and PDP will not win election in Abia State during their recent visit to his home to intimate him of the planned visit of Bola Ahmed Tinubu the presidential candidate of the APC.

Apugo revealed that APC have failed his people in Abia State, pointing out that no federal project has been sited anywhere in Umuahia and that he does not know what to tell the people if he was to campaign for APC. The respected traditional leader equally blasted the People's Democratic Party (PDP) during the interview.

"PDP has duped Abia State since 1999 and I am sure Abians will not vote for themÔÇØ
Apugo went further to state that he told Ikechi Emenike that he is supporting Peter Obi for president and Alex Otti for governor of Abia State.

The APC chieftain revealed that he is supporting Peter Obi because his presidential bid has wipe away the stigma of Biafra from Igbos, now everyone can see that we are Nigerians.
On the reason why he is supporting Alex Otti for governor of Abia State, he had this say;

"I am supporting Otti because he will wipe away our shame in Abia State, I am supporting because he will open up UmuahiaÔÇØ

"I am not saying Alex Otti is God, but Otti is the only salvation Abia State has nowÔÇØ

"I am not a member of Labour Party, I am a member of APC, but I am supporting Peter Obi and Alex Otti because it is the right thing to do nowÔÇØ he declared.
On the published report of him endorsing Ikechi Emenike, he faulted the report;

On the issue of Tinubu visiting Abia State, he stated that he made it clear to Ikechi Emenike that he will not be in the Stadium because he is a prince of Ibekuland.
