2023: Banky W Wins PDP Ticket As Celebrities Throw Support | READ DETAILS
Singer Olubankole Wellington, popularly known as Banky W, has won the People's Democratic Party (PDP) ticket for Lagos Eti-Osa Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives.
Banky W polled 28 votes of the 31 delegates at the primary held over the weekend.
Recall that Banky W had in 2019, contested to run under the Modern Democratic Party, (MDP), but lost to Babajide Obanikoro of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).
