Abia LP Chairman, Ceekay Igara Congratulates Alex Otti, Other Winners

Igara in his congratulatory message, appreciated the winners, the National and State Working committee of the Labour Party, PCC Coordinator and members, the governorship Campaign Council, media, security agencies and all who contributed to the victory of the party and peaceful electioneering process.

He prayed that God should grant the "Governor elect and the incoming government, the requisite grace and wisdom to pilot the affairs of the latest government in town".

His congratulatory message read;

On behalf of Our Presidential Candidate HE Mr Peter Obi, The National Chairman, National Working Committee Members and the entire leadership and membership of the Labour Party Abia State, I wish to appreciate God Almighty for His Grace and Mercy throughout the election.

I equally appreciate all Abians and non Abians who found in Labour Party partners for a new Abia, may God continue to bless you abundantly.

I sincerely appreciate my Governor- elect, His Excellency, Dr Alex Otti for his doggedness and commitment to see a better State, I appreciate handsomely the wife of our Governor elect, Mrs Priscilla Otti for the wonderful support to the husband throughout the election processes, may God continue to see you through.

I appreciate Rt Hon. Darlington Nwokocha our Senator elect, all our House of Representatives members elect and all the House of Assembly members elect for their various contributions and commitment to achieving this great feat, may God bless you all with wisdom, courage and strength to bring to pass a new Abia State.

I thank the PCC Coordinator and members, The Campaign Council led by Hon Acho Obioma (Chomen) and members, The State Working Committee Members and the entire membership for our sacrifices and prayers to seeing this day. May God reward each of us accordingly.

I specifically want to appreciate the Nigerian Police Abia State, The DSS, The Nigerian Army, The Navy, INEC Secretariat Abia State, IPAC and indeed all other security agencies for their professionalism and dedication to peaceful environment for the election.

I appreciate the press and all other professionals who have contributed in one way or the other in making this day a reality. May God bless you richly.

I pray God Almighty to grant our Governor elect and the in coming government, the requisite grace and wisdom to pilot the affairs of the latest government in town to the glory of God Almighty Alone.
