ABIA STATE PRIMARY, SEC. SCHOOL TEACHERS STILL ON STRIKE(SEE PICTURES TAKEN YESTERDAY)

The indefinite strike embarked upon by Abia State Primary and Secondary School is still on going after close to 2 weeks.

Yesterday, Abia Facts News crew visited some schools around Umuahia and the picture evidence gathered are attached below.

The schools were empty even though schools are suppose to be in session now. Information we gathered has it that Abia State Government proposed to pay 3 months out of the 10 months owed teachers and it was turned down by the union.

Negotiations are still on at the moment as we gathered.
