The Abia State Road Maintenance Agency ABROMA will soon be converted to a Limited Liability Company that will be charged with road maintenance and construction jobs independent of government funding. This is one way of making the corporation self reliant and more efficient.

The above is contained in a press release made available to AFNEWS and signed by Abia State Commissioner for Information Chief John Okiyi Kalu after the state council executive meeting that held on 24th September 2020 .
Chief John Okiyi Kalu said " The Exco approved the constitution of a committee that will oversee the transmutation of Abia State Road Maintenance Agency (ABROMA) to a limited liability company that will bid for road maintenance and construction jobs independent of government funding."

The committee was hereafter set up headed by the Secretary to State Government ." Barr. Chris Ezem with the following as Members: The Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr Uche Ihediwa,The Commissioner for Works, Elder Bob Ogu and Commissioner for Information, Chief John Okiyi Kalu."
