Abia YPP Guber Candidate, Chima Nwafor, Reveals Plans On Waste Management
As the 2023 elections draw closer, Engineer Enyinnaya Chima Nwafor, the governorship candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) in Abia state, has mapped out his plans for waste collection and management in Abia.

Dolling out his proposed strategies on managing waste, Nwafor in a statement signed by Ben Udechukwu, the Director, Media & Publicity, Nana/Ofuji Campaign Organisation, said it would reform the ministry of environment, the Abia State Environmental Protection Agency (ASEPA), engage inventive local welders to produce industrial waste buckets for various use which would in turn be deployed to roads.

The statement read;

"Apart from our measured efforts aimed at reforming the Ministry of Environment and Abia State Environmental Protection Agency (ASEPA), we shall engage the services of our inventive local welders to produce industrial waste buckets and deploy the buckets to Township roads. These buckets must be fabricated to differentiate between recyclable waste, garden waste and food waste.

Our plans on decentralisation of waste collection and partnerships for waste - wealth conversion will succeed faster when we put in place effective waste collection method.
