Senate President Godswill Akpabio has denied allegations that he facilitated a $15,000 bribe to secure Senate approval for the state of emergency in Rivers State, dismissing it as part of a malicious hate campaign against him.
Akpabio, speaking for the first time on the swirling bribery allegations, reacted through his Special Adviser on Media, Hon. Eseme Eyiboh, insisting that the claims were fabricated and meant to tarnish his image.
