Gov. Dave Umahi Arrests Caterer at Ebonyi Christmas Party | READ WHY
Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi state on Thursday, arrested a caterer contracted to prepare food at the Ebonyi state Christmas party for widows and elders in Abakiliki.

Speaking on a live broadcast by Arise TV, monitored by ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER, the governor stated that the caterer who was adequately paid, prepared 'uneatable foods".

"I called her to taste the food, she couldn't eat it" Umahi said.

He maintained that elders should be prioritized and respected by anyone who wishes to live long life and have good health.
"Anybody who wants God to prolong his life in good health and peace will need to celebrate you. The wisdom is not taking what belongs to the masses.

"I apologise to you very highly; I will skip the food and I will eat the same food with you in our next gathering" Umahi assured the widows and elders.
According to him, the participants will get 10,000 wrappers of highest quality for the widow and cash price in place of rice.
