Alex Otti Foundation Empowers 32 Students with scholarships

As part of its Annual rituals to empower deserving Abia State Students of various institutions with academic scholarship, the Alex Otti Foundation, has empowered about 32 students with the sum of N 150,000 each to enable them in their chosen studies.

Speaking at Confidence Hotels Umuahia, on Saturday during the occasion, the founder of Alex Otti Foundation, Dr. Alex Otti OFR explained that ever since the establishment of the foundation, it has supported so many people through the University, offer jobs to them, saying that some of the beneficiaries have equally worked him either in First Bank, UBA or Diamond Bank.

Dr. Otti lauded the efforts so far made by the Foundation's Executive Director Mr. Chinedu Ekeke, stressing that his hardwork, seriousness and tenacity have all combined to take the Foundation through the process that it has reached.

He noted that the earlier plans was for the beneficiaries to receive the sum of N130,000 each, but that he has decided to increase it to N150,000, explaining that though the money might not be much, but urged the recipients to do well so that more will be given to them.
Dr. Otti, however warned that the Scholarship is neither for lazy people nor for those who do not do well, pointing out that it is for the best of the best.

He said that the Foundation will be monitoring their performance, assuring that those who do well, will be supported to do more, while those who do not do well, will be left out.
Speaking in an interview, the Media Aide to Dr. Alex Otti, Mr. Ferdinand Ekeoma further highlighted that the Foundation is open to those who are willing to study hard so as to become better citizens in future.

He said the Alex Otti Foundation form is free of charge and urged the youths to ensure they get the form and key into the system so that they too can benefit from the foundation.
