Hon. Amobi Ogah, Member representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has congratulated Nigeria's D'Tigress following their sensational victory at the 2025 AfroBasket Women's Championship, where they claimed their fifth consecutive title.

Nigeria's women's basketball team stunned Africa yet again after defeating Mali 78-64 in a pulsating final, cementing their status as the undisputed Queens of African basketball.

With this win, D'Tigress have now lifted the AfroBasket Women's trophy five times in a row - an unprecedented achievement in the history of African basketball - and seven times overall.
