Before you are tested for COVID-19 you must meet certain criteria

Any person (including severely ill patients) with any of the following symptoms: fever, cough or difficulty in breathing and who within 14 days before onset of illness had any of the following exposures:

* History of travel to any country/city with confirmed and ongoing community transmission of SARS- COV-2, or

* close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19, or
READ ALSO: Etigwe Uwa Mourns Death Of Aguiyi-Ironsi, Okpara's Widows
* Exposure to a health care facility where COVID-19 case(s) have been reported.

Please, note that without meeting any of the above stated criteria you will not be tested for Coronavirus in Nigeria.

If you are in Abia and met the above criteria please call 0700 2242 362 and the government will send an ambulance to pick you up, test and isolate you pending when the result will come out, usually within 24 hours.
