BREAKING: Former President Jonathan Billed To Visit Gregory University Uturu

Management of Gregory University Uturu has announced plans to host former president Dr Goodluck Jonathan in a one day visit on Wednesday 3rd March 2021.

According to a press statement by the acting Registrar Rosemary Igboekwe, "Plans have been concluded for the former president to perform the foundation laying of the 1000 bed capacity Gregory University Uturu Teaching Hospital Complex located at Ezinnachi on Wednesday 3rd March 2021 He is also expected to commission and energize the 5MVA electricity transformer recently procured by the Chancellor, Prof Gregory Ibe, for the purpose of distributing power to Uturu and environs".

The release further states that "the former president will subsequently observe the rededication of the school main auditorium which is named after him, and thereafter participate in a special convocation ceremony during which he will be conferred with an honorary doctorate degree".

In conclusion, the release requests all attendees to the special convocation ceremony to abide by all operative COVID-19 safety measures, stressing that non compliance will lead to denial of access to the event venue.
