BREAKING: Why We Fired The Entire Super Eagles' Technical Crew-NFF
Barely hours after the team's interim coach, Augustine Eguavoen quit his job, the Nigerian Football Federation, NFF has revealed why it fired the entire Super Eagles' Technical crew.

Serving as an addition on the list of sagas trailing Nigeria's failure to qualify for football's most grand gathering in Qatar, the NFF has terminated the appointment of the entire technical crew today, Thursday, 31st March.

Ex coach Eguavoen has also stepped down as the technical adviser of the team.

The football body, in a statement released on its website titled 'NFF disengages Super Eagles' Technical Crew', and signed by the NFF General Secretary, Dr Mohammed Sanusi stated that the termination takes immediate effect.
The statement reads;

"Following the failure of the Super Eagles of Nigeria to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, the erstwhile Technical Adviser, Augustine Eguavoen has stepped down from that position with immediate effect.
The NFF has in the meantime withdrawn the two-and-half years contract offered the coaches and terminated the appointment of the entire technical crew of the team with immediate effect.
We thank the coaches and team officials for their service to the nation and wish them success in their future endeavours.ÔÇØ
