COP: NCC Reveal Risks Children Face Online | DETAILS

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), has revealed some of the risks children face whilst online.

The NCC is the National Independent Regulatory Authority for the telecom industry in Nigeria.

In line with its Child Online Protection (COP) initiative, the Commission gave the risks children face online as;

Meeting online friends offline can lead to negative consequences. This is a situation where a person befriends a young person to gain their confidence and then s-exually unguided comments.
