Corps Members across the country have in no doubt been getting involved in a number community development services, popularly know by the acronym CDS. While the CDS has come a long way as a scheme organized by the NYSC to make the corps members get involved with their host communities by carrying out certain projects, personal CDS can also be carried out by the corps members to their host communities in a way to meet certain needs.

GOD'S LOVE: As an individual I believe in making impact at one's level, in essence you can do something about something where you are in your own capacity.
Posted to serve in an unusual place such as the Prison, wasn't easy to deal with psychologically as I have never been there before or seen people in that kind of confine.

I decided I was going to do the much I can for them whilst I was there and I had two major inspiration

2. Cooking for the inmates
This was the last idea I had as a way of biding them farewell. I desired to affect their lives through books and the word of God but I also felt that making something good for them to eat will add smile to their faces and leave an eternal mark in their lives and even more profound to let them see the love of God through that act.

GOD'S LOVE: One principle I hold on to so strongly is the fact that you can achieve anything you set your heart to only that you can't achieve it alone.
So I had the vision, I shared it with as many people as possible and did not fail to let them know that I needed their financial help and to that end people contributed in cash and in kind.

Seeing your passion for global impact, especially for prison inmates, in what way do you hope to impact inmates globally?

GOD'S LOVE: One way I intend to impact inmates at global level is to provide a structured curriculum that helps mental rehabilitation as prison is a correctional centre to help curb maladaptive behavior through changing of mindset or believe system.
With the structured curriculum, I and a team will go as permission is given to take the inmates on this classes and also create a skill acquisition scheme to help concretize knowledge and enhance productivity.
Would you like the government to support this vision? And in what way can they be of help?
GOD'S LOVE: Yes I would love the government to support this vision.
1. I will need access to the prisons
2. Books will be used so I need sponsorship
3. Financial support for the skill acquisition
4. Support in creating Post Prison Service Term Rehabilitation.
