COVID-19: What President Buhari, Trump Discussed During Phone Conversation
More details on the telephone conversation between President Muhammadu Buhari and United States President, Donald Trump, has emerged.
AFNews recall Trump had on Tuesday President Buhari in a phone conversation where he declared support for Nigeria in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic and promised to send ventilators to Nigeria.

The development was confirmed by Nigeria's Minister of information, Lai Mohammed during the daily media briefing of the presidential task force on COVID-19.

Giving more details in a statement on Tuesday night, Buhari's spokesperson, Femi Adesina, disclosed that during the meeting "the two leaders commiserated with each other on fatalities in their countries, caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
"They also shared ideas on how to successfully combat the health emergency.ÔÇØ

President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday appointed thirty-eight people to the board of the Federal Character Commission (FCC).

The President forwarded a letter to the Senate seeking approval for the appointment.
COVID-19: NCDC Reports 195 Confirmed New Cases
The Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on April 28 reported one-hundred-and-ninety-five confirmed new cases of Coronavirus codenamed COVID-19.
This makes the total confirmed cases of the novel virus in Nigeria to 1532.
Coronavirus: List Of States With Confirmed Cases In Nigeria
The Nigeria Center For Disease Control on Tuesday, as at 11:50 pm, 29th of April confirmed 195 new cases of Coronavirus, bringing the total number of cases in the country to 1532.
