Traders woke up this morning to the sad news that the ever busy and popular Ogbe-Gonogo market in Asaba, Oshimili south local government area of Delta state has been engulfed by fire destroying shops and goods worth millions of naira.

Eye witness who spoke to AFNEWS stated that Over 10 shops at the old market were consumed by an inferno which according to eyewitnesses lasted for over five hours before the arrival of fire service men from the state.
