Delta: How Efe Committed Suicide Over His Love Life

A 30 years old man in Okuokoko community, Okpe local government area of Delta state identified as Efe has taken his life by drinking poison. AFNEWS gathered that the deceased decided to end his life after his girlfriend dumped him for another man.

A Sources who wants remain anonymous said this was the second time late Mr Efe was attempting suicide .The source said exactly a month ago he attempted to take his life,but he was rescued.
The source who spoke to AFNEWS via phone said After the first attempt of suicide failed, it was learnt that he made a second attempt to kill himself and was found dead in his apartment on Sunday morning after apparently drinking poisonous substance.

Another friend to the deceased who also want to remain anonymous confirmed to AFNEWS that late Mr Efe attempted his first suicide almost a month ago when his girlfriend threatened to walk out of their relationship.

He said the suicide that finally took Efe's life was generally believed to have been linked to his love affair with his girlfriend although they are uncertain about the circumstances that led to him taking poisonous substance.
