Kaduna state governor's son, Bashir El-Rufai on Monday, described the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), as a useless union which should be scrapped.

According to El-Rufai, ASUU should be replaced with educators that has the interest of students at heart.

He tweeted;

"ASUU is a very useless union. They should be scrapped and replaced with educators that actually give a damn about students and how that translates to the future of this country".

Meanwhile, the strike embarked on by ASUU since February 14, 2022, has now become indefinite.
