Group Petitions EFCC to Reopen Corruption Cases Against Senator Orji Kalu ,Others [VIDEO]

A group known as Concerned Nigerian led by Comrade Deji Adeyanju has submitted a petition to the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) to reopen the corruption case against the Senate Chief Whip ,Senator Orji Uzor Kalu.

Comrade Deji Adeyanju a famous Nigerian activist and social media influencer who spoke to newsmen in Abuja shortly after submitting the petition at the EFCC Abuja office stated that ,it has been six months after Senator Orji was acquitted by the supreme court due to a miscarriage of justice by a judge who convicted him,Deji argued that Senator Orji was not acquitted of the charges against that the court only faulted the legal processes leading to his conviction.

Comrade Deji opined that after six months of that supreme court judgement acquitting Senator Orji Kalu the EFCC is yet to re-arraign the Senator, so as,a concerned Nigerian group they came to submitting a petition to remind the EFCC of its constitutional responsibilities by re arraigning Senator Orji Kalu, as well as the minister of the Niger Delta Affairs Senator Godswill Akpabio and the Acting Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) Prof Pondei Bubarayefa.

Comrade Deji also called on the EFCC to be alive to its constitutional responsibility by arraigning the trio.
