HILARIOUS: After 5-Years Of Divorce, Ex- Wife Makes A Return, Beats Up New Wife | READ IN FULL

A divorced woman who seems not to be done with her marriage made a return to her former husband's house in a controversial manner.

Ruka Tayo, 38, and her friend, Jimoh Abiola, 35, appeared before an Ikorodu Magistrate Court on Friday, March 12, for allegedly beating up her former husband's new wife.

The duo allegedly beat up the complainant, Mrs Adeyemi Morenikeji, at the residence of Tayo's ex- husband in Ikorodu, five years after their divorce.

The two defendants who are standing trial on a two-count charge, bordering on conspiracy to commit an offence and assault, pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The Prosecutor, ASP Gbemileke Agoi, told the court that the defendants committed the offences on Feb. 26 at about 4:p.m at Road 7, Mowowole Estate, Oreta Igbogbo area of Ikorodu.

He alleged that the defendants conspired together and beat up the complainant at her husband's residence because she married the former husband of one of the defendants.

Agoi said the offences contravened the provisions of Sections 412 and 172 of Criminal Law of Lagos, 2015.

The Magistrate, Mrs R. A. Onilogbo, admitted the defendants to bail in the sum of N50,000 each, with two sureties each in like sum.
