How 3 were Killed, Others Injured In Fresh Attack By Gunmen In Plateau State

No less than three persons have been killed and three others were also injured on Monday during an attack by gunmen on Hukke village of Miango in Irigwe chiefdom, Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau state.

Those injured were said to have been hit by gunshots from the attackers.

Confirming the incident as well as the identities of those affected by the fresh attack, the Secretary-General of Irigwe Development Association, (IDA), Mr. Danjuma Auta said in a statement that Barry Ive 42; Isaiah Gado 45; and Weyi Chohu 40 lost their lives.

He listed those injured during the unfortunate incident as Bosco Gbere 50; Barnabas Lundi 20; and Moses Bombo 28.

When contacted for a reaction, the spokesman of Plateau Police Command, ASP, Gabriel Ubah, told The Nation: "l'm in a meeting now. l will get back to youÔÇØ.
